Below are screen shots to give you an indication of the functionality of TOYS.
The following three shots demonstrate using the capture wizard to capture a schema.
Page 1. Selecting an Oracle® session to use for the capture.
Page 2. Selecting the schemas to be captured.
Page 3. Selecting the object types that are to be captured.
This next shot shows using the schema compare wizard to compare two schemas.
Page 1. Selecting the object types to be compared and compare options.
This next shot shows TOYS with the differences view current. The differences view is the result of comparing two databases. The grants node [within the DEPT table] has been selected, thus the details of the differences are displayed in the right hand pane.
In this example, it shows the two new grants that were added to the reference database. For details of this example, see A very simple example of synchonizing databases.
Differences in the DEPT table's grants. The green plus symbol indicates the grants have been added.
Normally, you work with only part of the tree expanded. This next shot shows a small tree expanded to give you an idea of what is in a differences tree.
Differences view fully expanded.
An example of the DDL generation wizard. This wizard is used to generate DDL scripts from the contents of any database snapshot.
Selecting the type of DDL script to generate.
Selecting those object types for which DDL is to be generated.
